Looking for the Best Epoxy Flooring Contractor in Atlanta, GA
Concrete is often seen as one of the strongest materials, which is why many people choose to use it for their garage and pool deck flooring. However, you cannot just pour concrete and then immediately use it, or else you risk weakening or damaging the floor very quickly. Most concrete floors in homes and businesses are epoxy floors. Epoxy is the primary material used in protective coatings that we pour over concrete.
Epoxy and other protective materials help strengthen concrete floors and protect them against damage. BadAss Garage Floors is the best epoxy flooring contractor in Atlanta, GA. Consider us for your next project.
Atlanta, GA, Concrete Coating Services
BadAss Garage Floors can provide a range of concrete coatings for your next flooring project. We have installed epoxy-coated concrete floors in and around many homes and businesses in the Atlanta, GA, area. When you work with us, we will determine which materials to use for your floors based on where the floor is and what you intend to use it for. We want your floor to have longevity and stay looking great for years. Therefore, we need to protect it properly against common uses.
Epoxy Flooring
When most people hear about epoxy flooring, they think of garages. However, we can install epoxy floor coating anywhere in the home. Many clients choose to install an epoxy concrete floor when they add a bonus room to their homes or finish their basements.
Epoxy Garage Flooring
Garage floor coatings are another specialty of ours. Garages have many uses, the most popular of which is vehicle storage. If this is the primary use of your garage, then we will use materials that strengthen the floor and protect it from cracking under the weight of a car. Some people like to use their garage as a workspace for power tools and other machinery. In this case, we will use a garage epoxy protective coating that works better against surface damage like dents and scratches.
Pool Deck Coatings
We are also happy to install and repair pool decks and patio coatings. Pool decks and patios need protection against their constant exposure to the Georgia sun. Additionally, they need to provide safe traction when wet. When installing one, we use materials that mitigate damage from natural causes, and we add a physical texture that keeps the surface from getting slippery.
Commercial Epoxy Flooring
Big retailers like hardware and home improvement stores often have epoxy concrete floors. These stores need to support a lot of use and weight. Epoxy concrete floors for commercial properties are the most durable type of flooring for these purposes.

How It Works
For each project that we complete, we follow a six-step process. This helps us organize our work and make sure that we complete every step. Our process is as follows:
Preparing the Floors
The first step is to prepare the floors. If we are refinishing a floor, then we will remove the existing protective layer. If we are installing a new floor, then we will mix and pour the concrete from scratch. We take special care in this step to make sure that the surface of the floor is smooth and level, as that will help the protective concrete coating go on smoother as well. Once the concrete is dry, we will clean the area and move on to step two.
Repairing the Floors
Next, we will repair the floors. No matter how careful we are in step one, there are bound to be imperfections in the concrete. Whether there are holes from air bubbles or an uneven area, we will make immediate fixes to the problems. At the end of this step, we should have perfectly smooth and level floors and an area that is completely clean of dust and debris.
Applying the Base Coat
Our next step is to apply the base coat. This is generally our Kretus epoxy base layer. This protects the concrete in many ways.
Adding Decorations and Texture
Next, we will add decorations and texture. We will spread colored flakes of your choosing around the floor to add a pop of color. If we are installing a pool deck or patio, then we will add some physical texture to the surface that will help make it less slippery when wet.
Flattening and Cleaning the Surface
Next, we will flatten the surface by scraping down the colored flakes until the floor is completely flat again. We will not flatten the surface of a pool deck or patio where we have added intentional texture. Before moving on, we will clean the surface again.
Adding the Topcoat
Finally, we will add a polyaspartic topcoat.
